Pecans in sealed bags or tins should be kept at cool room temperature or in the refrigerator for several months.  For longer storage, it is best to freeze natural or roasted and salted pecans in sealed bags.  Properly packaged, raw pecans that are frozen should maintain their freshness for two years.  Chocolate and other coated pecans will maintain their quality if frozen but there may be alteration in appearance.

Yes, the chocolate is perfectly fine to eat…just not as pretty as we would like.  This is called chocolate “bloom.”  Chocolate that has "bloomed" is still safe to eat (as it is a non-perishable food due to its sugar content) but may have a whitish appearance and surface texture.  The most common cause of bloom is fluctuations in temperature.  Chocolate “bloom”  may damage the appearance of chocolate but does not limit its shelf life.

Yes, but when temperatures are above 75°, we offer insulated shipping for an additional charge.  Or, if we are shipping a gift bag or tin with chocolate covered nuts, we can substitute a different nut without chocolate.

Our products are custom packed to order.  Depending on the time of year, your order will ship that day or within 1-3 days.  During the holiday season in November and December, it may take a little longer, but all orders placed by December 15 should arrive by Christmas.  Every effort will be made to get your order shipped as soon as possible.  You also have the option to place your order early and request a future ship date.  

Yes, if ordering online, please set up an account and create an address book from which you may ship gifts at any time.  This list will be saved for future orders.  Or if prefer to order on the phone, you may email your list of names and addresses to us and we will handle all the details.
